Dinosaurs are a member of the reptile family, but small ones appeared during the Triassic period, which began about 230 million years ago, and later evolved into the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. It flourished for over 100 million years, but became extinct about 65 million years ago. Triceratops was a dinosaur from the late Cretaceous period, around the end of the dinosaur era, and is said to be the most evolved of the ceratopsians, with a body length of 6 to 9 meters. It has three horns in total, one short horn above its nose and one long horn above each eye, and its distinctive feature is that the bones at the back of its head protrude to protect its shoulders. It is herbivorous and docile in nature, and its three horns are thought to have been used to protect itself from attacks by carnivorous dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus and to raise fallen trees.

This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces Triceratops, which is a very popular herbivorous dinosaur.
