Velociraptor is a small carnivorous dinosaur that lived widely from Asia to North America at the end of the Cretaceous period. He had a nimble body and had considerable athletic ability. In particular, the sharp claws on its hind legs were a terrifying weapon that could be used to defeat prey larger than itself. They may have used tactics such as moving quickly in groups and making sharp cuts with the claws of their hind legs. In Mongolia, it was fossilized while fighting with Protoceratops. Also, its fellow Deinonychus attacked larger herbivorous dinosaurs in herds.
