The Golf is a small passenger car representing Volkswagen. Since its first appearance in 1974, it has continued to evolve and continues to lead the world's compact cars. We have also been actively participating in motorsports since the first model. The second generation model underwent a full model change in 1983, and in 1985, the sports version "GTI" equipped with a 1781cc straight-4 DOHC 16-valve engine was added to the lineup. This GTI-tuned machine also participated in the World Rally Championship, winning the class championship in 1986. This is an electric radio control car assembly kit that reproduces the rally specification of this second generation Golf. The 3-door hatchback body is made of polycarbonate. The main body is painted white, the windows are painted smoked, and the wheel arches are pre-cut. Stickers are available for the three-color blue parts and the front grill, making it easy to finish. The chassis is a shaft drive 4WD MF-01X. You can enjoy plenty of on-road driving as well as dirt driving.

The chassis uses the MF-01X, a compact 4WD that can be enjoyed on any road surface, from on-road to dirt. The highly strong left-right split monocoque frame has been integrated with the gearbox for ease of assembly. A motor is mounted on the rear end, and power is transmitted to the rear wheels using gears and to the front wheels using a propeller shaft. A differential gear is installed in the front and rear sealed gear cases to achieve smooth cornering. Furthermore, the battery for driving is set almost in the center of the vehicle body for a good weight balance. The suspension consists of 4 independent double wishbone wheels equipped with friction dampers. The upright hub carrier is for the M-05Ra chassis, which is compatible with off-road driving. The classically designed dish wheels are equipped with Rally Block tires.
