During World War II, the German Army's No. IV assault tank Brumbar was developed to provide fire support for infantry. Based on the body of the Panzer IV, it has a large fighting compartment with 100mm of armor on the front and 50mm on the sides, and is equipped with a powerful short-barreled 15cm howitzer. The high-explosive shell had a range of 5,000 meters, and the shaped-explosive shell could penetrate 160 mm thick armor plate tilted at 30 degrees. Among the three types of Brummbar developed: early, middle, and late, the latter produced the largest production volume of each type, approximately 160, from May 1944 to March 1945, near the end of the war. Incorporating battle lessons, it is equipped with a defensive forward machine gun and a cupola for the commander, and the battle compartment has also been redesigned to increase its capacity and layout. In addition, in order to handle the heavy weight, some of the wheels have been replaced with steel wheels without rubber rims. The later model, which was deployed to an assault tank battalion made up entirely of Brumbars, demonstrated its power in attacking enemy positions and fortified urban areas on both the Eastern and Western Fronts and the Italian Front.

This is a late-model Brumbar plastic model assembly kit.
