The Ilyushin IL-2 Shturmovik, a ground attack aircraft that represented the Soviet military during World War II, was launched in June 1941. It was the aircraft most needed by the Soviet Army during the war between Germany and the Soviet Union, and Prime Minister Stalin himself encouraged production, and by the end of the war, more than 36,000 aircraft were mass-produced, the largest number in military aircraft history. A major feature is that the bulletproof steel plate that covers the cockpit, engine, and fuel tank also serves as a structural material for the aircraft in order to reduce weight increase. Production began in March 1941 as a single-seat model, but A two-seat version with a rotating machine gun added to the rear was introduced in order to counter interception by German aircraft. In late 1943, an improved model appeared in which the sweep angle of the outer wing was changed from 5 degrees to 15 degrees. It delivered a devastating blow to the German tank force from low altitude, and together with the T34 tank, it sealed victory for the Soviet army.
A four-wheel drive vehicle developed by the Soviet army during World War II . The GAZ-67B is a small military vehicle equipped with a 54 horsepower water-cooled inline 4-cylinder 3280 cc engine in a compact body, demonstrating high performance with a maximum speed of 90 km/h and a maximum payload of 400 kg. Its design was uniquely designed. However, it is said to have been modeled after the American military jeep. Production began in 1944 in the latter half of the war, and its excellent running performance and durability were used to tow staff communication vehicles and light artillery. It was widely used as a car, a light reconnaissance vehicle, etc. Even after the war, more than 60,000 units were produced, and it continued to serve as a transportation vehicle for communist countries.
