The British Aerospace Sea Harrier is a fighter with VTOL / STOVL (Short take-off and vertical landing) characteristics developed to equip the on-board flight departments of the British Royal Navy. It entered active service in the late 1970s and early 1980s with the main role of fleet air defense. In 1982, embarked on HMS Invincible and on HMS Hermes, he participated in the Falklands war demonstrating its operational effectiveness.
