The U.S. Air Force's F-16 was born as a small and lightweight air combat fighter, and has evolved into a powerful multi-purpose fighter through excellent basic design and gradual improvements. The advanced F-16C has improved radar and cockpit, and can now be equipped with the high-power GE F110 engine in addition to the P&W F100 engine. Among them, the Block 50, which began delivery in 1991, is equipped with the F110-GE-129 engine, which has further improved thrust. Furthermore, the type equipped with the ability to operate the AGM-88 anti-radar missile was called the F-16CJ, and it was also able to carry out Wild Weasel missions to suppress enemy air defense radars. More than 4,000 F-16s were produced, including variants, making it the most successful and masterpiece fighter of modern times.
This is a plastic model assembly kit of the U.S. Air Force's multi-purpose fighter F-16CJ. ★Scale 1/32, total length 475mm, total width 296mm. ★The blended wing body that creates the beautiful form of the F-16 is expressed by molding the upper surface of the main wing as one part with the fuselage.
★Major parts of the fuselage are screwed. In addition, the legs are made of die-cast to ensure strength.
★Precisely modeled the F110-GE-129 engine that characterizes Block 50. Even after completion, it can be attached and detached using the slide rail at the top of the engine bay just like the actual machine. A trolley for mounting the engine is also included, so you can enjoy displaying it alone or creating scenes for maintenance scenes.
★A rich set of weapons such as missiles. Two types of additional tanks and AN/ALQ-184 ECM A pod is also included, allowing you to reproduce the weapon mounting pattern commonly seen on the F-16CJ belonging to the U.S. Air Force. The weapons can be removed and replaced by using polycap fasteners, allowing you to customize the weapons for each mission. You can enjoy different outfits in one machine.
★The pitot tube in the nose and the discharge cables at the rear end of each wing are made of metal, and the radar antenna surface and chaff/flare dispenser are made of photoetching to improve strength and texture.
★Moving blades such as flaperon, horizontal stabilizer, and rudder Types can be stopped at popular angles using polycaps. The leading edge flap, which can be set up or down, also adds movement to the model.
★The ejection seat in the cockpit is attached to the slide rail, similar to the actual aircraft, and can be removed even after completion. Includes 1 pilot figure in a seated position.
★Two types of canopy parts are included: transparent and smoked.
★The air brake at the rear of the fuselage can be opened or closed.
★Tires are made of realistic synthetic rubber. Wheel chocks for use when parking the aircraft are also included.
★Four types of markings are available, including a Tiger Meet participating aircraft and an Operation Iraqi Freedom participating aircraft with flashy markings on the vertical tail. Masking stickers for canopy painting and safety pin tag sheets are also included.
★If you remove the weapons, canopy, and vertical stabilizer with polycap from the completed model, you can use the inner lid as a pedestal to store it in a package.
